Aleshia

The feminine title Aleshia is related to Alicia, the English form of Alice, a name with Greek and German origins meaning “truthful” or “noble.” Perhaps most recognized by the title character in Lewis Carroll’s children’s novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and the Disney movie that followed, Alice’s character is gentle, loving, courteous, and curious. Truth be told, these are all wonderful qualities for little Aleshia to inherit, making this a lovely name, especially for an inquisitive child who loves to explore the world around them.
