Cyndy

Cyndy is a girl's name with Greek roots. A variant of Cindy, the English alternative, and Cynthia, a Greek name, Cyndy means "from Mount Kynthos." Mount Kynthos, sometimes spelled as Mount Cynthus, sits on the island of Delos. The gods Apollo and Artemis were born on this island, and carry the epithets Cynthia and Cynthus in honor of it.
