Daena

Daena is a girl's name of Latin and British origin. This rare choice is a creative respelling of Dana, meaning "from Denmark," or possibly Diana, meaning "divine." The latter refers to the Roman goddess associated with the moon, hunting, and protecting labouring mothers. These explanations are lovely, but did you know that Daena is also a minor character in the Game of Thrones series?
