Lenae

Though different in spelling, the feminine name Lenae can easily be identified as a variant of Linnaea. The Linnaea borealis, or the twinflower as it's also known, is a creeping shrub that Lenae and its variants take inspiration from. Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus gave the plant its original name, but its paired, bell-shaped flowers later make twinflower a fitting alternative title. Found in cool, dark forests in northern regions, the twinflower blooms in brilliant shades of white and pink. Of all the many things in the world that come in pairs, you and sweet Lenae will be a joy to behold.
