Mirandah

Though Shakespeare may not have spelled Mirandah with a -h, he did pave the path for its creation. A feminine name, Mirandah is a respelling of Miranda, a title invented by Shakespeare for the heroine in his play The Tempest. Both Mirandah and Miranda are derived from the Latin word mirandus, which translates to “admirable,” “wonderful,” or “worthy of admiration.” When people meet baby Mirandah for the first time, they won’t be able to stop themselves from “oohing and ahhing!”
