Taine

A name rooted in the Māori language, faith, and culture, Taine is a masculine moniker inspired by Tāne. This handsome title means "man," "male," or "husband" and is most famously borne by the Māori forest god. Also known as Tāne-matua and Tāne-nui-a-Rangi, Tāne is the son of the sky father Rangi-nui and the earth mother Papa-tū-ā-nuku.
