Multi-Hyphenate Bridgit Mendler Reveals She Adopted a 4-Year-Old Son
Bridgit Mendler wasn’t your typical childhood Disney star and isn’t your typical mom either!
The former Good Luck Charlie star has gone on to graduate from Harvard Law and recently started her own space satellite company Northwood Space. But among all of these big accomplishments, Mendler has found her biggest joy in becoming a mom.
The singer and songwriter shared the news on Twitter shortly after announcing her new role as CEO of Northwood Space. “The other news I wanted to share is I’m a mama to a sweet 4yo boy,” she captioned a sunset of her and her son on X (formerly Twitter). “Started fostering in 2021 adopted near Christmas of 2022. I’m so lucky — being a parent is the biggest gift and most defining experience there is.”
“We don’t have the same 24 hours as @bridgitmendler,” joked one commenter. “An actual queen and MOTHER in every sense. READY OR NOT, we are here to support all of the great things you’re doing,” someone else added. “Congratulations on your journey into motherhood! Adopting and fostering truly change lives, and that first holiday season as a family is always extra special. Here’s to many more shared sunsets and precious moments,” another account wrote.
