Is it bad for my baby if my nipples bleed?

No, your bleeding nipple won’t hurt baby — but it can’t feel so good for you. Don’t stop nursing on your sore nipple as it heals, but do get help to find the reason your nipple is bleeding. (Bleeding nipples often signal a shallow latch.) A lactation consultant should be able to watch you nurse and offer some pointers to help you avoid a repeat of this painful episode.
