Cinda

Cinda is a historical Greek feminine name meaning "from Mount Kynthos," referring to the range of peaks on the isle of Delos. The story goes that Leto gave birth to Apollo and Artemis on the island, having been shunned by Zeus' wife, Hera. Hera's children had the epithets Cynthius and Cynthia, the latter becoming the name from which Cinda emanated. Baby will indeed feel a strong bond with the Greek Cyclades and the myth-fuelled island of Delos.
