Cristabel

Cristabel, also spelled Christabel, is a girl’s name of Latin and French origin. This pretty name combines the names Christine, meaning “Christian,” and Belle, meaning “beautiful,” to mean “beautiful Christian.” It’s believed to have been coined by Samuel Coleridge for his 1797 poem “Christabel.” A famous historic bearer was English suffragette Christabel Pankhurst, daughter of Emmeline.
