Eliya

Eliya is a gender-neutral respelling of the classic Hebrew name Elijah. With roots in the Old Testament, it means "my god is Yahweh," after the prophet Elijah. This integral figure had a tremendous impact on Judaism and Christianity alike. He led the Israelites away from idol worship and helped King Ahab refocus his faith on Yahweh, also known as Jehovah.
