Eriss

Eriss is a girl’s name of Greek origin, meaning “goddess of discord,” and a tempting little twist on the Greek name Eris, appointed to the mythical personification of pure contention. Hellenic legend has that Eris—as punishment for her many misdemeanors—was the only goddess unwelcomed to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. Bad blood boiling over, she construed a conflict between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite that would eventually kickstart the Trojan War. While most look for excitement in life, nothing embodies a mind of real mischief better than Eriss.
