Gratiela

Gratiela, similar to Graciela, is a variant of the feminine Latin name Grace and means "favor" and "blessing." Grace is one of the original virtue names, along with Hope, Faith, and several others dreamed up by the Puritans for their children. It also has religious connotations and refers to the Christian concept of divine grace, thanks, and forgiveness. The Latin term gratia is credited with starting the ball rolling on Grace and its variant names so baby Gratiela knows where to aim their gratitude.
