Kestrel

Baby Kestrel will make your heart soar. This nature-inspired name is of English and French origin, from the name of the bird of prey. It originates from the Old French word crecelle, which means "rattle," a reference to the sound of the bird's cry. The American kestrel, also known as the sparrowhawk, is small yet fierce. Roughly between the size of a robin and a crow, these colorful birds hover over their prey, ranging from insects and other birds to small mammals, and snatch them from above.
