Lavar

Though you might recognize it as the Spanish verb "to wash," Lavar has been given a clean slate as a masculine moniker. Typically spelled Lavar or LaVar, this title is a variant of Levar, Laver, and other African American names. For some, Lavar is an entirely invented creation that only shares lavar's Spanish definition by association. Others link Lavar to Laver's Old English meanings of "washerman" or "flood water crossing." When there's a water table to play with or a puddle to splash in, sweet Lavar might just be in their element.
