Metztli

Metztli is a gender-neutral name of Aztec origin. It translates to “moon,” “crescent,” or “month,” and refers to the Aztec deity of the moon, night, and farmers. It’s unclear whether Metztli was a god or goddess, and some sources suggest they are the same being as the moon goddess Yohaulticetl and the moon god Tecciztecatl.
