Nechemia

Nechemia is a boy's name of Hebrew origin. Derived from the Hebrew word nacham, it translates to "comforter" or "God comforts," sweetly soothing the soul of the little one lucky enough to carry it. Nechemia may also hold ties to the biblical figure Nehemiah, who, in faith, rebuilt the walls and temples of Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. No matter how many battles baby faces, the name they bear will hopefully remind them that comfort is a blessing that's theirs to keep.
