Nicodemus is a biblical boy’s name of Greek origin, inspired by the name Nikodemos, which translates to “victory of the people.” In the Christian New Testament, Nicodemus is most famously known as a Pharisee and religious leader who meets Jesus Christ in the Gospel of John and buries him after his crucifixion.
