At an event for 65 military moms-to-be in New Jersey, Kim Kardashian shared some pregnancy style advice with Elle. Spoiler alter: it’s not super practical.

“I recommend hiding for a good year and having no pregnancy style. That’s what I recommend. If you can do it, hide. Never leave the house.”

Sure thing, Kim! Luckily, Khloe was right there with a reality check, but Kim stuck to her guns:

Khloe: “Okay, well that’s not practical. Give a different answer.”

Kim: “That’s really my recommendation. Wear a huge blanket.”

The interview was full of more gems from Kim, like the following:

“[North’s] like badass. Like, ‘I’m North.’ She’s very confident in who she is. I will say that.”

Wondering about North’s personal style preference? 12-month-old North’s personal style preference?

“North doesn’t really like pink. She’s very neutral…she doesn’t like prints,” said Kim.

We do think the Kardashian sisters were playing around a little bit during the interview. They attended the New Jersey event to promote the partnership of Babies “R” Us — where their clothing line, Kardashian Kids, is sold — and Operation Shower  — an organization that throws baby showers for military moms whose husbands are deployed.

They also offered insight on their top new-mom essentials, which was refreshingly practical: breastfeeding tools, pacifiers, bottles, diapers and bibs.

Would you heed any of Kim’s advice?
