Pregnancy is full of magical moments, unexpected lessons and yes, a few weird and sometimes worrisome symptoms that can leave you wondering: Is this normal? But between sleepless nights, nesting urges and pregnancy brain, it’s hard to remember what happened when, let alone what you wanted to chat with your doctor about. To help keep you from drawing a blank at your next checkup, The Bump App has upgraded its beloved Journal feature to include a brand-new Pregnancy Symptoms Tracker.

Now, along with jotting down memories or venting about tough days, you can browse a comprehensive list of common symptoms and log how you’re feeling, all in one place. From tracking patterns over time to sharing concerns with your provider, the Pregnancy Symptoms Tracker is designed to help moms-to-be feel more heard, supported and in control of their prenatal journey.

You can find the new tool on your home screen below Daily Reads and Week-by-Week highlights in the Tools & Resources section. Just tap into the Journal, select New Entry, choose a date and time, and start typing. Below the text box, you’ll find a dropdown where you can select the symptoms that apply to you that day.

Once you’ve saved your entry, it’s logged in a secure timeline view so you can easily look back on your pregnancy. From hearing baby’s heartbeat for the first time to tracking headaches or spotting, your journal becomes a day-to-day chronicle that you—and your doctor—can reflect on and learn from. Through it all, hopefully, you can gain a greater sense of gratitude, hope and strength to navigate these momentous times.

Download The Bump App from the App Store and Google Play to start journaling and tracking your symptoms today!
