These Two Fisher-Price Toys Have Been Recalled Due to Choking Hazards
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced two separate recalls involving Fisher-Price toys due to choking hazards. Here’s what parents need to know.
Why Are These Fisher-Price Toys Being Recalled?
Brunch & Go Stroller Toys: According to the recall around 253,000 of the populra stroller toys in the US and 4,500 in Canada are affected. The toy egg’s yolk can crack, creating small parts that pose a choking risk. Fisher-Price has received five reports of the yolk cracking, with two instances where infants had small pieces in their mouths. No injuries have been reported.
Tissue Box Toys from 3-in-1 SnugaPuppy Activity Centers: About 15,300 of the SnugaPuppy activity centers in the US and 2,000 in Canada are also included in this recall. The detachable tissue box toy can come apart, exposing small support brackets that pose a choking hazard. There has been one report of an infant placing a detached bracket in their mouth; no injuries have been reported.
How do I know if my product is affected by the recall?
Brunch & Go Stroller Toy: This toy features a pretend avocado toast with three attachments—a mirror tomato, crinkle bacon, and an egg teether. The recall affects toys marked with model number HGB85, found on the fabric tag attached to the toast piece. The affected toys were sold between February 2022 and March 2025 at major retailers including Walmart, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Hobby Lobby and Amazon.
Tissue Box Toy from SnugaPuppy Activity Center: This white tissue box with red decorations and sensory cloth tissues (black-and-white stripes on one side, yellow/green spots on the other) was sold as part of the 3-in-1 SnugaPuppy Activity Center. Look for model number HLV78 on the underside of the activity center near the Fisher-Price logo. The affected toys were sold between November 2022 and February 2025 at Walmart and online retailers like Amazon.
What should I do if my product is recalled?
If you have either of the recalled toys, stop using them immediately and keep them out of reach of children. Fisher-Price is offering a free replacement. To receive one, you’ll need to permanently write “RECALL” on the recalled item—on the egg for the Brunch & Go Stroller Toy, or on the tissue box and an “X” on the sensory tissues for the SnugaPuppy toy. Then, take a photo of the marked item and upload it to Service.Mattel.com. After submitting your photo, dispose of the toy. You can find more information about the recall at CPSC.gov.
