Jimmy Fallon’s Upcoming Children’s Book Celebrates Grandmothers
Jimmy Fallon is coming out with a new children’s book, Nana Loves You More, which honors and celebrates grandmothers.
The book is set to come out on next year and features artwork by Miguel Ordóñez. Fallon’s previous kids’ books, Your Baby’s First Words Will Be Dada, Everything Is Mama, This Is Baby and Five More Sleeps 'Til Christmas have all debuted at the number one spot on The New York Times bestsellers list.
The book is partially inspired by kids’ long separation from their grandparents due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “This is for all the NANAs out there, whether you go by Grandma, Gammy, Meemaw, GG or Abuela. I know you love NANA, but NANA loves you more!” he said in a statement.
Earlier this year, Fallon told PEOPLE how excited his two daughters, Winnie, 7, and Franny, 6, were to see their grandparents after being apart this past year. “My dad has some underlying conditions, it’s tough. And so yeah, no, my kids haven’t really spent time with their grandparents all year,” he told the outlet, adding that his dad had been able to get the vaccine and the family was looking forward to seeing each other soon. "They’re really looking forward to that. It’s gotta be emotional, man.”
The book is set to come out on March 29, 2022 and is available for pre-order now.
