The list, chosen by Amazon’s Book Editors, was released last month and includes books that help kids understand diverse experiences and cultures. The annual list features the Top 100 books of the year, published between January and December 2020, across several categories, including literature & fiction, mystery and thrillers, science fiction & fantasy, biography, children’s, young adult and more.

This year’s top title? A Knock at Midnight: A Story of Hope, Justice, and Freedom by Brittany K. Barnett.
