Photographer Karen Marie Hourscht of Belly Beautiful Portraits strikes again. She recently stole our hearts with her photo shoot transforming sleeping babies into Frozen characters, and now the California-based photographer is celebrating Christmas a little bit early with a magical photo shoot inspired by the classic The Nutcracker story.

Feast your eyes on the whimsical photos.

To bring her vision to life, the photographer teamed up with Sew Trendy Accessories, which made the elaborately decorated costumes for each of the babies.

Hourscht is known for capturing pictures of sleeping newborns and turning them into enchanting scenes like the ones above. She combines her photography expertise with her background as a former labor and delivery nurse and childbirth expert to capture these innocent moments.
