Arvid

Eagles have always captivated us with their speed, sharp vision, and powerful symbolism, from Ancient Greece right up to modern-day America. The name Arvid, popular throughout Scandinavia, perfectly captures this fascination. Derived from the Old Norse Arnviðr, it means “eagle tree,” “forest of eagles,” or “eagle wood,” combining arn (“eagle”) with viðr (“tree” or “wood”). Arvid might also have roots in Old High German, where arn also means “eagle.” For a modern twist, Formula One fans might recognize Arvid Lindblad, a promising young driver competing in the Junior Formula Series with Red Bull, proudly representing the United Kingdom.
