Does anyone use cash anymore? Even though this digital age has made dollar bills nearly superfluous, the name Cash has been around for a long time and isn’t leaving anytime soon. Surprisingly enough, this name dates back to the 18th century! It was an English surname for a box maker, derived from “caisse,” meaning “money case.” In the 19th century, it transformed into the beloved forename we celebrate today.
