Huyana

When spoken aloud, the gender-neutral name Huyana paints a certain image and echoes a certain sound. Though somewhat difficult to trace, Huyana is believed to stem from the language of the Miwok, a Native American people. Possibly translating to "falling rain," Huyana brings to mind the force that replenishes rivers, nourishes plants, and washes away what is no longer needed. The word huy means "water" in Jutiapa, a now-extinct Guatemalan language, but beyond this, there's little to confirm Huyana's definition.
