Khadijah

Khadijah is a girl's name of Arabic origin. The meaning of Khadijah is ”early baby” or “trustworthy” and “respect.” Sometimes spelled as Khadija, Khadijah was the first wife of the prophet Muhammad. Khadijah was an intelligent woman that came from a wealthy background with her family of merchants in Mecca. When her father died, she took over his business and used her industrious skills to keep it thriving. Not only was she extremely hard-working, but she was also compassionate, helping the poor, sick, orphans, and disabled in her community.
