Maelia

Make way for the arrival of a royally beautiful little one, baby Maelia. A feminine version of the name Mael, Maelia has its roots in Breton, a Celtic language spoken in Brittany in northwestern France. As little Maelia begins to rule the roost, you’ll be reminded that their name means “princess” and “chieftain.” Maelia and Mael could also derive from an Old Irish word for “bald” or “bare,” though we’re sure that won’t stop baby Maelia from wearing their crown with pride.
