Mayahuel

Mayahuel is a girl’s name of Aztec origin. In Aztec culture, Mayahuel is one of a number of interrelated maternal and fertility goddesses and is closely associated with the maguey plant. This plant was used to make rope and octli, later known as pulque, an alcoholic beverage made from the sap of the maguey.
