Milos is a Slavic male name and the diminutive of Miloslav, derived from the Slavic root mil, meaning "merciful" and slav, meaning "glory." It is a trendy name across many Eastern European countries such as Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Among the plethora of sports stars carrying the name, Milos Krasić is the one that stands out most.
