Summit

Summit is a fresh, spirited name for both boys and girls. Derived from the Old English word somet, this name means “highest point,” “peak,” or “apex” and also points to the Old French and Latin phrases somete and summum. Kilimanjaro, K2, and Everest are, of course, among the more illustrious peaks. Many climbers are famed for conquering them—some without any extra oxygen to help them brave the cold, icy unknown.
