Ugo

Ugo is an Italian name for a boy, meaning "heart," "mind," and "spirit." It comes from the name Hugo, which has the same meaning. The most famous Ugo is probably Ugo Ehiogu, the late great Premier League footballer and England international. Ehiogu personified heart, mind, and spirit, and in 1993, he became the first black player to captain an England team in a competitive football match. He was a pioneer and a history maker, and someone baby Ugo would be proud of.
