Valeska

Valeska is a name usually given to girls. German in origin, it's one of the many diminutives of Valeria and mainly draws inspiration from the Latin word valere, meaning “bravery” or “courage.” As a derivative of the Slavic name Vladislav, Valeska’s translations of “rule” and “glory” are all the more triumphant. The name Valeska is also known for its villainous ties in the TV show Gotham, reminding big Batman fans that not only is their newest BFF the bravest but the baddest there is, too!
