the Hilarious Reason Why These Newborn Photo Shoots Went Viral
In a perfect world, your angelic new baby would curl up in a peaceful pose and sleep his way through a newborn shoot. There would probably be some sort of crochet clothing involved.
These three families do not live in a perfect world.
First, meet Mark Resnick and his seven-day-old son Asher.

After about an hour of smooth sailing during the shoot, Asher decided it was time to let loose.
“He decided to let it rip — like a loud cannon— and covered my back and jeans,” Resnick tells TODAY. I couldn’t stop laughing and I was sure it was dripping down my legs inside my jeans. Funny thing is, I just knew it was going to happen. I was joking about it all day — I just knew it."
Resnick, who shared the post on the Facebook page Life of Dad, certainly isn’t the first father in this situation. Here’s incident no. 2 (hehe), shared by UK dad Adam Ferguson on The Dad Network blog.

Gross. Absolutely. Normal? Yep.
“It would be out of the norm for me to have a shoot in which a newborn did not have some kind of accident during the session,” Gigi O’Dea, who photographed Asher, tells TODAY. “It is usually not this pronounced, and I have never had a baby pee, poop and spit up in one shot. As Dad called it, it was the ‘trifecta.’”
We’re not sure this is something you can prevent during your newborn shoots. But we can help you prep for your session with some cute photo inspiration.
