Chrissy Teigen’s Date Night Photo Proves Mom Duty Never Ends
You can always count on Chrissy Teigen for some relatable parenting moments, like the time she tweeted about her second pregnancy weight gain or when she got real about her post-baby boobs. Now, a photo of Teigen, shared by hubby John Legend, is revealing what really happens on date night when you’ve got a new baby at home.
In an Instagram post, the “All of Me” singer shared a photo of the happy couple in the backseat of a car, off to enjoy a fancy Father’s Day dinner. Teigen is looking glamorous in a slinky peach dress, flashing a peace sign—and pumping breast milk for newborn son Miles Stephens.
“I know it’s Father’s Day and all but my wife is pretty awesome,” Legend captioned the post, which has well over a million likes. “She’s taking me to dinner but still on mommy duty.” Because being a parent never stops—something moms everywhere know all too well.
“Awwww love it!!! Gotta take care of that baby!” one follower commented.
“Ya gotta do what ya gotta do,” wrote another. “I had to pump down the freeway while my hubby was driving on the way to my son’s two-week check-up and our first family lunch out a couple years ago.”
“Best thing I’ve seen in my life,” said a third person. “Keep it real girl!!”
Teigen has never been shy about breastfeeding in public, and we love that she’s equally open about pumping. After all, the process can be confusing, uncomfortable and time-consuming, so the more people who are willing to talk about it, the better.
