Handsome dads Elton John and David Furnish have an incredible reason to celebrate today. The parents to 2-year-old son Zachary have expanded their beautiful family and welcomed another son, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John , last Friday morning!
Prior to adding Elijah to the mix, the couple had revealed plans for another baby, but kept mum on when. They even hoped to use the same surrogate. Their reason for adding more to their bunch? “I would like Zachary to have a sibling,” David said. “I think he would be better with a sibling than on his own. It’s something we talk about all the time.”
Looks like the proud pops and little Zachary got exactly what they hoped for! The happy couple confirmed the news to Hello! magazine, saying, "We are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement. Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable.” We are so excited for these two 'gents! After waiting their entire lives to become parents, the duo are now dads to two adorable cuties!
And I’m sure that every new dad can relate to the pure joy and elation that both John and Furnish feel. They said of their new baby boy, “The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement.” Aw! You guys! The cutness! I can’t.
