Made popular for its toy subscription kits that are age-appropriate, sustainably made and built to last, Lovevery has recently recalled around 47,000 Slide & Seek Ball Run toys included in its Babble Play Kit. Here’s what you need to know.

Why is Lovevery recalling its Slide & Seek Ball Run toys?

Lovevery has identified an issue with the wooden knob on the door of its Slide & Seek Ball Run. The wooden toy with a plastic ball ramp is included in Babbler Play Kits for children 12-15 months old.

According to a recall released in conjunction with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Lovevery noted that it had “recently updated the packaging for The Babbler Play Kit,” which the Slide & Seek Ball Run is included in and, “as a result, the wooden knob on the door of the Ball Run can be damaged during shipment, posing a choking hazard to children.”

Lovevery has received 33 reports of the wooden knob detaching during shipping and six reports of the wooden knob detaching after shipment. No injuries have been reported.

How do I know if my product is affected by the recall?

The recall affects certain units of the Slide & Seek Ball Runs shipped between June and November 2023. Affected units have a wooden knob on the door, do not have a Lovevery logo engraved on the bottom, and do not have a green sticker on the inside wall of the door with the wooden knob. You can check to see if your Slide & Seek Ball Run is a part of the recall on the Lovevery website.

What should I do if my Slide & Seek Ball Run is recalled?

Parents who with an affected Slide & Seek Ball Run are advised to immediately take the toy away from their children, stop using it, and dispose of the door in the trash. Those with affected items can register their item as recalled and receive a new Slide & Seek Ball Run free of charge by visiting RecallTR.com/BallRun.
