It’s the holidays, which means it’s time to capture a picture-perfect photo of your sweet family…or at least, try to. Think it’ll be easy to get baby to smile, your toddler to sit still or everyone to just look at the darn camera? Ho, ho, ho! But as these adorable holiday photo fails prove, any pictures of your loved ones can be utterly precious. Who knows—they might even make it onto your holiday cards after all. “Isn’t this the reaction you dream of after putting layers of clothes on your wiggly kids, packing them into the car to go to the magical Christmas forest to pick out the most perfect tree for a Christmas they’ll remember forever? Exactly,” this mom wrote on Instagram.
“When you just want a decent holiday photo but your toddler and the wind refuse to participate,” Kati Gall posted on Instagram.
All this mama wanted for Christmas was cute pics of her kids, but her crying toddler wasn’t having it.
As this soon-to-be mom of four can attest to, getting everyone to look at the camera at the time is a big ask.
“When you’re just trying to get a good family picture and your kid just wants to face plant into the ground,” Kenz Sage captioned her Instagram photo.
As one commenter said of this mom’s Instagram post, this is just so real life.
