I love to go to the gym so I understand how exercise is a big concern for moms who are pregnant with multiples! While every pregnancy is different, as a general rule you’re going to want to significantly decrease the amount of cardio activity you’re doing when pregnant with multiples. That being said, your doctor may very well approve other types of exercise, such as swimming, yoga, and arm exercises. If your regular routine includes walking or the stationary bike, this may also be something you can continue doing during the first part of your pregnancy. Just be sure to check with your doctor first, and avoid exercises that require you to lie flat on your back or jump around too much.
