Q&A: What UTI Medicatiosn Are Safe While Nursing?
I've recently gotten a Urinary Tract Infection. What UTI medicines are safe while breastfeeding?
Most often an antibiotic is prescribed for urinary tract infections, and plenty of them are considered safe to take while breastfeeding. Just be sure your doctor knows you’re breastfeeding before she writes a prescription. Some meds are considered safer (or are better studied) than others.
