Adriano

Adriano is a boy’s name of Italian and Spanish origin, meaning “man from Adria.” Adria is a town in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It’s home to the ruins of the Etruscan city of Atria or Hatria, which are located three to four meters below the modern city. This ancient town may also have given its name to the Adriatic Sea. Adriano is a variant of the Latin name Hadrianus and the English name Adrian.
