Alva

Alva is a gender-neutral reserved for those whose inner light is beyond words and feeble comparison. The origins of Alva are plentiful—much like its many interpretations—though its Hebrew roots are most compelling. As a variation of Alvah, this easy-flowing appellation finds a worthy translation as "his highness" or "sublime." However, if little Alva's radiance extends beyond the mortal realm, they may find more appropriate roots in the Old Norse álf, which means "elf."
