Amariah

Amariah may look similar to the Greek Amaria, but this gender-neutral name bears an entirely different etymology. Hebrew in origin, Amariah means “Yahweh has said” or "promised by God" and is close kin to the likes of Amaris or Amarissa. Though originally a name reserved for high priests, Amariah reflects those with a clear purpose and the will to see it through.
