Denim

Though it may come as a surprise, the name Denim actually has French origins. Its uniqueness is universal, therefore giving any baby the opportunity to rock this name as a gender-neutral selection. From the French, it means "strong cloth," because it comes from the French phrase de Nîmes, which translates to "from Nîmes." Originally called serge de Nîmes, Denim has gone on quite the journey. But there's hardly a fabric, or a name, we'd trust to last the test of time more.
