Hoban

The Anglicized name Hoban comes from the Irish traditional name Ó hÚbáin. Though it translates to "descendent of Úbán," this ancient name can be used by anyone with that Irish blood pumping through their veins! Hoban also was briefly famous by the Firefly character, Hoban Washburne. He was the space pilot of many dreams and beloved by fans of the show and comics. Though this name is already unique, if you really want to turn heads, give baby the nickname Wash.
