Kayley is a feminine name of Irish origin. Although mainly derived from the last name O’Kiely, meaning “graceful” or “beautiful,” it may also be related to the Aboriginal Australian name Kiley, meaning “boomerang” in the Noongar language. Kayley has many variations, including Caylee, Kaylee, and Kayleigh. It rose to popularity during the 1990s but has begun to decline since the turn of the century as parents opt for other spellings.
