Lander

Lander is a masculine name of mainly British origin, though many favor its potential Greek roots. As a variant of Landon, Lander derives from the Old English placename Langadune, meaning "long hill." Alternatively, Lander may have evolved from the German element lant, "land," instilling it with the meaning "territory," and with it a sense of dominion.
