Mauritius

Mauritius is a boy’s name of Roman, Latin, and Greek origin and is a variant of Maurice and Maurus. Stemming from a word that describes someone “dark-skinned,” Mauritius is often interpreted as "North African" and "Moor," and dates back to the era of the Roman Empire.
