Ninus

Ninus is a masculine name of Greek origin that stems from Akkadian and possibly Hurrian roots. Meaning "fish" or "House of Fish," this name has a riverine vibe to it as it is the name of the founder of the ancient great city of Nineveh, which sat along the Tigris and Khawṣar Rivers and thrived during the 1st millennium BC.
